One of the things I miss most of the Bahamas Bahamas Food

I spent a year last month, the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, never heard? This is a long, thin and a bit 'an uninhabited island on the east side of the Bahamas. I must say one of the most rewarding journey of Bahamas food was of course I like every place I visited! I like to try all the local courts and the Bahamas was no exception.

The food is probably not the first thing you think of when you think of the Bahamas with allbeautiful white sand beaches and turquoise crystal clear water and blue. If not, you can enjoy as much food as the experience of the Bahamas, you'll regret later.

The kitchen is mixed receives the attention it deserves in the local restaurant on the island for a diversity of styles with many unexpected international a. Experience true native food can also vary from island to island, and depend on the type of fish served. As acould be a big part of their dishes with seafood are designed with plenty of water on the islands all share.

Get ready, food preferences and choices, because we never had in the Bahamas the chefs enjoy a unique and distinctive experience.

One of the foods that can meet any other place on a large scale is the meat from the shell. This is the favorite food of native Bahamians and is used in almost every dish you can imagine. When Iliving there, last summer I had conch salad, fried clams, clam soup, and even conch burgers! One of my favorites, however, was raw seafood with lemon juice, chilli and fresh tomatoes and onions. But beware, when I say hot peppers, I mean hot! As of Cajun origin, was a hot meal and even the peppers are grown in Mexico are as hot as this!

Another popular dish among the residents especially fish and grits. The fish is salted pork, peppers and onions, served with boiledGrits for breakfast fare. I used it every morning.

Need the local variation of fish chowder that island can also try to stay. Although the exact recipe varies slightly, it is usually fresh grouper, which are abundant there, tomatoes, lime juice made, and dark rum, absolutely delicious.

Do not be afraid, these and many other local dishes at the end of the test are available when you get the chance to travel to the Bahamas.
